Heavy-Duty Machine Frame, Custom Elevated Gantry
Heavy-Duty Bed Base Dedicated to Spire
The Spire 1530
dual-independent-head CNC router features a
dedicated Spire heavy-duty bed base, constructed from
thick-walled welded steel tubing and optimized through
AI-based structural simulation and load analysis. The
support layout, load paths, and critical stress areas are
reinforced to improve rigidity by approximately 20%,
enhancing vibration resistance and minimizing deformation.
Thickened steel strips reinforce the guide rail and rack
mounting areas, providing a stable foundation for the 1500 ×
3000mm working area and synchronized dual-spindle operation.
The bed features a continuous thick steel plate surface and
undergoes both vibration stress relief and annealing to
release residual welding stresses and reduce long-term
deformation. High-precision five-axis gantry milling is then
used to machine critical mounting surfaces for the linear
guides, racks, and other components, achieving mounting
datum accuracy within ±0.02mm. These processes combine
structural reinforcement, stress relief, and precision
machining to maintain stable performance under high-speed,
heavy-duty cutting conditions.
Designed for heavy-panel machining and extended continuous
production, the Spire 1530 features a reinforced
load-bearing structure that distributes machining forces and
operational impacts more effectively. Its thick-walled steel
tubing, reinforced steel strips, and heavy steel plate form
a rigid, multi-layer support structure, increasing overall
load capacity by approximately 25% following structural
optimization. The entire bed is finished with a durable
powder coating that provides a uniform protective layer with
excellent rust and scratch resistance. This combination of
structural strength and durable surface protection helps
maintain long-term machining accuracy and reliability.
High-Rigidity Integrated Gantry Structure
The machine features a high-rigidity, reinforced one-piece
beam designed to improve structural strength and resistance
to bending and torsion. High-rigidity cast-iron uprights on
both sides form a stable load-bearing frame, ensuring
smoother movement of the dual independent spindles during
high-speed travel and heavy-duty cutting. The beam's guide
rail and rack mounting areas are reinforced with thickened
steel strips and precision-machined on a large milling
machine, achieving mounting accuracy within ±0.02mm. This
provides flat, stable mounting surfaces for the linear
guides, racks, and other transmission components.
The mounting interfaces between the cast-iron uprights,
beam, and bed are precision-machined on a large milling
machine to ensure consistent reference surfaces and
flatness, minimizing the impact of assembly errors on
overall accuracy. These precision-machined interfaces create
more reliable structural connections, while the reinforced
beam helps reduce load-induced displacement during long-term
operation. Together, they provide stable motion support
across the 1500 × 3000mm working area.
Unlike conventional welded steel-plate uprights, cast-iron
uprights offer superior damping and vibration absorption,
helping suppress high-frequency vibrations, structural
resonance, and vibration transmission during machining. The
combination of a high-rigidity beam, cast-iron uprights, and
precision-machined mounting interfaces ensures stable
performance during high-speed movement, continuous
operation, and heavy-duty cutting, improving surface finish,
dimensional consistency, and long-term reliability.
The Z-axis features two 46mm extra-thick, hard-anodized
aluminum alloy Z-axis plates, precision-milled from solid
high-strength aluminum. Compared with the industry's common
15–20mm designs, the thickness is more than doubled,
providing a more stable foundation for the Z-axis motion
system. The one-piece construction minimizes structural
inaccuracies associated with joints and welding while
enhancing rigidity and deformation resistance, ensuring
stable dual-spindle movement during high-speed travel and
cutting.
Made from high-strength aluminum alloy, the Z-axis plates
combine structural strength with lightweight performance.
Compared with traditional heavy steel structures, they
reduce moving mass, lowering the load and inertia on the
Z-axis servo motors for faster acceleration and deceleration
and smoother motion. This combination of lightweight
construction and high rigidity improves dynamic response
while reducing mechanical stress during long-term operation,
helping enhance transmission and servo system efficiency.
The plates undergo full-surface sandblasting and hard
anodizing to create a refined metallic finish and a durable,
high-hardness protective layer. Compared with conventional
surface treatments, this finish offers superior wear
resistance, corrosion resistance, and scratch protection.
Beyond enhancing the machine's appearance, it maintains
reliable surface performance in demanding industrial
environments, combining rigidity, lightweight design,
durability, and long-term value.
Heavy-Duty Adjustable Anti-Slip Leveling
Feet
The machine bed is equipped with six heavy-duty adjustable
leveling feet made of high-strength carbon steel with an

while absorbing some of the vibration and impact generated
during operation. The wear- and tear-resistant rubber
resists cracking and deformation, making it suitable for
supporting heavy machine loads over extended periods.
The six leveling feet are strategically positioned to
distribute the bed's weight evenly, reducing localized
stress and unwanted movement for improved overall stability.
Threaded adjustment enables quick and convenient machine
leveling without complicated procedures. The combination of
heavy-duty carbon steel, electroplated protection, thick
anti-slip rubber pads, and evenly distributed support
provides a stable foundation, helping the Spire maintain
smooth operation during high-speed movement and continuous
machining.

can easily identify each zone and monitor vacuum pressure in real
time, allowing timely adjustments when pressure conditions change.
This combination of independent zone control, real-time pressure
monitoring, and clear zone identification makes the vacuum system
more intuitive to operate and easier to maintain.
The vacuum table is equipped with a 4+2+4 pneumatic positioning
system featuring a practical multi-point layout. Four positioning
cylinders are installed at the far left and another four in the
middle of the table along the Y-axis, while two additional cylinders
are positioned along the X-axis. This arrangement provides
consistent positioning references and enables two panels to be
aligned quickly in one setup. The flexible layout accommodates
different panel sizes and is ideal for simultaneous two-panel
machining and batch production.
The positioning cylinders operate through vertical lifting,
establishing a consistent reference point once the panels are
loaded. This reduces setup errors caused by manual measuring,
marking, and repeated adjustments. Combined with the 6-zone, 20-port
vacuum table, the system enables a two-step workholding process:
pneumatic positioning for quick alignment, followed by vacuum
suction for secure clamping. This improves loading efficiency and
machining consistency.
Dedicated control buttons are conveniently located beneath the
electrical cabinet, allowing operators to raise or lower the
positioning cylinders with a simple press, without navigating
complex menus. The responsive, easy-to-use controls streamline
positioning and release according to machining requirements. With
its 4+2+4 multi-point layout, the system supports both single-panel
and dual-panel processing, enabling efficient, repeatable workpiece
positioning for large panels and high-volume production.
The rear of the machine bed is equipped with 24 auxiliary loading
rollers arranged in 3 rows and 8 columns, providing evenly
distributed, continuous support for large panels. Made from
high-strength, durable nylon, the rollers offer excellent
load-bearing capacity, wear resistance, and impact resistance. Their
multi-point support reduces friction between the panels and machine
bed, allowing large workpieces to move more easily and smoothly.
The roller surfaces are smoothly finished to ensure gentle,
consistent movement while minimizing scratches, abrasion, and
surface damage. This is particularly beneficial when handling panels
with high appearance-quality requirements. Working in conjunction
with the machine table and positioning system, the rollers help
guide panels smoothly from the rear of the machine into the
machining area, reducing the risk of bumps and accidental damage
during loading.
With the assistance of the 24 rollers, a single operator can load
and push large panels into position without requiring multiple
people to handle the material. For panels measuring up to 1500 ×
3000 mm, this design reduces manual handling effort, improves
loading efficiency, and helps shorten production cycle times.
Cooling, Dust Collection, Vacuum, All Top-of-the-line Components
The machine comes standard with a 7.5kW cyclone dust collector driven by
a three-phase asynchronous motor, delivering an airflow capacity of up
to 10,000 m³/h. It provides powerful, continuous dust extraction for
high-speed dual-spindle machining, efficiently handling the wood chips,
dust, and fine particles generated during woodworking. Its multi-stage
filtration system combines cyclone separation with high-precision filter
cartridges. Large particles and approximately 99% of the main dust load
are separated in the cyclone chamber and collected in the dust bin,
while finer particles undergo secondary filtration.
High-quality polyester filter media provides filtration efficiency of up
to 99.9%, capturing fine airborne dust generated during machining.
Compared with conventional bag-style collectors, the multi-stage design
separates coarse and fine particles, reducing the load on the filter
cartridges while improving dust collection performance and extending
filter service life. The automatic pulse-cleaning system allows cleaning
intervals to be configured according to operating requirements. Pulsed
airflow rapidly removes accumulated dust from the filter surfaces,
reducing manual cleaning frequency and helping maintain consistent
filtration performance.
A large 250L dust collection bin accommodates substantial volumes of
wood chips and dust, reducing emptying frequency and supporting longer
continuous machining cycles. The visible filter arrangement allows
operators to monitor filter and dust accumulation conditions for timely
maintenance. Equipped with mobile casters, the collector can also be
repositioned easily to suit different workshop layouts, providing
greater flexibility in daily operation.
The machine is equipped with a 7.5kW variable-frequency vacuum pump
featuring an oil-free, water-free design, eliminating oil-related
maintenance and contamination associated with conventional
oil-lubricated pumps. Variable-frequency control automatically adjusts
operation according to vacuum demand, maintaining stable suction
pressure while reducing unnecessary energy consumption. With a constant
vacuum pressure of −50 kPa and a maximum airflow of 520 m³/h, the pump
provides continuous, powerful suction for the 6-zone, 20-port vacuum
table, securely holding panels of different sizes during machining.li>
High-temperature-resistant bearings are designed to withstand the heat
and mechanical loads associated with extended operation, supporting
reliable performance in demanding production environments. The oil-free,
water-free design reduces routine maintenance requirements and helps
keep the workshop cleaner. Combined with variable-frequency
constant-pressure control, the pump adjusts its operating output to
match actual demand, balancing workpiece-holding stability with energy
efficiency.
A dedicated intake filter cartridge is installed at the vacuum line
inlet to capture wood chips, dust, and other contaminants before they
enter the pump. This helps prevent internal wear and blockages,
extending the service life of the pump and its sealing components. The
filter assembly is also easy to inspect and clean. With high airflow,
constant-pressure output, variable-frequency control, and effective
intake filtration, the system delivers reliable, long-lasting vacuum
power for Spire machining operations.

S&A CW5200 Industrial Water Chiller
The spindle cooling system features an S&A CW5200 industrial water
chiller, designed to provide continuous, stable cooling for both 5.5kW
water-cooled spindles. Circulating coolant efficiently removes heat
generated during high-speed operation, helping maintain stable spindle
temperatures and reduce the risk of thermal drift, machining accuracy
loss, and bearing wear during extended operation.
The CW5200 supports both constant-temperature and intelligent
temperature-control modes, allowing cooling performance to be adjusted
to different machining conditions. A clear display panel and water-level
viewing window provide convenient monitoring of coolant temperature,
water level, and operating status, simplifying routine inspection and
maintenance. Stable coolant circulation and intelligent temperature
control help maintain consistent thermal performance across both

Programmable Auto Lubrication: Set It and Forget It
1.5L Large-Capacity Automatic Lubrication System
The transmission system is equipped with a 1.5L large-capacity
automatic oil reservoir, providing continuous lubrication for the
linear guides, racks, and other critical moving components. The
reservoir is made from high-strength, wear-resistant,
flame-retardant material for durability in demanding industrial
environments. The oil inlet fittings are made of solid copper,
offering excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and
sealing performance for reliable lubricant delivery.
An integrated pressure monitoring system with a visible pressure
gauge allows operators to check lubrication pressure in real time.
Lubrication duration and intervals can be customized to suit actual
machining requirements, enabling timed, metered automatic oil
delivery. This reduces manual maintenance while helping prevent
premature wear of the guides, racks, and other transmission
components caused by insufficient lubrication.
A built-in float sensor monitors oil levels and automatically
triggers an alarm when the lubricant runs low, prompting timely
replenishment and helping prevent operation without adequate
lubrication. By combining automatic lubrication, pressure
monitoring, and low-oil alarms, the system maintains proper
lubrication of Spire’s transmission components, supporting
high-speed movement, heavy-duty machining, and extended continuous
operation.
Oil Drip Tray for Z-Axis
A dedicated oil collection tray is installed beneath each Z-axis,
with one tray for each of the two independent Z-axis drive systems.
The trays collect excess lubricant from the linear guides, ball
screws, and other moving components, preventing oil from dripping
onto the worktable or workpiece surface. This helps minimize oil
contamination, rework, and material waste, especially when machining
products that require clean, high-quality surfaces.
The trays collect excess lubricant in one place, keeping the machine
and work area cleaner while reducing lubricant waste. They also
allow operators to monitor oil accumulation more easily during
routine inspections and perform timely cleaning and maintenance,
helping maintain organized lubrication management and reduce
long-term maintenance costs.
Both trays feature a simple mounting structure secured by just two
screws on each side, allowing quick removal and reinstallation.
Operators can easily remove the trays for cleaning without
complicated tools, making routine maintenance faster and more
convenient while improving the machine’s overall practicality.
