Stainless steel hollow light boxes are generally used on door heads, walls, and indoor background walls. They are generally used for decoration. They are a popular form of advertising sign production in recent years. They can be made into a variety of lighting effects, and can achieve a variety of lighting schemes such as front lighting and bottom lighting.
The shell of the hollow light box is made of stainless steel or galvanized iron, and a customized appearance effect is achieved through baking paint or electroplating. The luminous part needs to be hollowed out using a metal engraving machine, and then the LED lamp is installed on acrylic to achieve lighting.
The production of this type of light box is much simpler than traditional billboards such as luminous characters. The following is the general production process.
To make a light box, select the plate according to the production file. Generally, stainless steel, galvanized steel plate, titanium plate and other rust-proof, non-deformable and easy-to-process metals are selected.
Paint or electroplate the plate as required until the expected appearance requirements are met.
Use a metal laser cutting machine to cut several surface parts, and then weld them. There are two welding processes: generally, the size of more than 1 meter is selected with a 1.0mm thick galvanized iron sheet, which is made by argon welding and the edge seams are polished flat; the size of less than 1 meter is selected with a 0.8mm thick 201# stainless steel. Some users also require 304# stainless steel and laser welding.
If the edge can be folded directly, the folding machine can be used to bend and form it directly.
According to the design drawing, use a metal laser cutting machine to hollow out the plate to form the required fonts, patterns, etc. The hollowed-out part needs to keep the edges smooth and burr-free.
The luminous part uses LED lamp beads or light strips. The maker needs to choose the appropriate LED light strip according to the color temperature and brightness he needs (water discharge needs to be considered for outdoor use). It is also necessary to choose a translucent acrylic plate of suitable color and light transmittance to be installed in the hollow part of the light box to protect the LED circuit, and the translucent acrylic plate can emit a dreamy soft light after lighting.
Assemble the light box frame with the acrylic plate, LED light strip, etc. The acrylic plate needs to be fixed to the light box frame with special glue (generally glass glue, etc.), and the LED light strip is installed in the appropriate position according to the design drawing.
After assembly, debug and test the light box. Check the luminous effect of the LED light strip, the light transmittance of the acrylic plate, and the stability of the overall structure. If there is any problem, it needs to be adjusted in time.
