The combination of the vacuum table and T-slots turned out to be a bullseye, because it holds large furniture boards well, and for smaller pieces where I don't always want to turn on the pump, I can just throw clamps into the slots, and it stays rigid. I was afraid of the quality of Chinese steel, but the frame is heavy and solid.

We upgraded from a standard router because our cabinet orders kept growing. The automatic tool changer alone has made a big difference. We can finish nested cabinet jobs much faster now, and the machine stays accurate even after running all day. The build quality is better than I expected.

I wasn't sure if one CNC machine could handle both carving and turning well, but it's worked out better than expected. We cut cabinet panels during the day and machine table legs or columns when needed. It's a practical setup for a shop that doesn't have unlimited floor space.
